On August 29, St. Teresa School, Indirapuram solemnly commemorated National Sports Day in reverence to the legendary Major Dhyan Chand. The morning assembly commenced with a pledge to uphold the ethos of discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Students eloquently articulated their viewpoints on the significance of this day, emphasising how it ought to be venerated as a tribute to Indiaโs glorious sporting heritage.

In Football, the Commerce stream distinguished itself with tactical brilliance and cohesive play, securing a resounding victory. The celebration, in its entirety, became a sublime confluence of homage and healthy rivalry, encapsulating the quintessence of sporting excellence.

On 13th August 2025, our school celebrated Independence Day and Janmashtami together with great enthusiasm. The programme began with Krishna Vandana that filled the hearts with devotion. The celebration featured beautiful performances including Shri Jagannath Stuti, patriotic songs, and energetic dances. Thoughts on Independence Day and inspiring speeches by our respected dignitaries filled the atmosphere with patriotism. The event concluded successfully with a vote of thanks.

The theatrical talent of St Teresa School was displayed at its best when students of classes 9B1 and 9B2 enthusiastically performed the play Villa for Sale. The vibrant performance, great energy and creativity were some of the hallmarks of the play. The young performers kept the audience glued to their seats with their acting skills and wonderful dialogue delivery. The play not only showcased their command over the language but also highlighted their teamwork, confidence and potential.

Through stories and songs, our young learners understood the values of love, care, and protection that this festival signifies.
