Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat

ST. Teresa school organized Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat on 25th jan 2018 three main States such as Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh taken into consideration and students were divided into each states, they show case their customs and culture with the help of folk dance. The audience was filled with enthusiasm and was mesmerized by seeing the performance.
Prakriti Mahotsav: Tarve Namah(Mission Green School)

St. Teresa School, Indirapuram (Ghaziabad), took a venture to create culture of conversation of environment among the student by teaching kids how to be environmental stewards for a lifetime. Since the school believes in a team work approach, on 16th and 18th August, 2018 the students, teachers and the Academic Director, Mrs Renu Srivastava planted 12 plants around the school premises to achieve this goal. The plantation was an endeavor by the students and teachers of ‘Eco Club of the School’, wherein 2 plants each of Ashoka , Jamun, Mango, Guava, Jackfruit and Neem were planted by 16 students and 2 teachers. Eco Club has taken up the sole responsibility of the well- being of the plants and to nurture it on daily basis as an initiative to ‘Prakriti Mahotsav’ and make the Mission Green Schools a success.
Independence Day Celebrations

14 August 2018, St. Teresa School, celebrated Independence Day with zeal and spirit befitting the occasion. Directors of the School graced the occasion. The Indian tricolour was unfurled in the school field in the morning. Thereafter, the cultural program began with the assembly organized by class IX -A. An outstanding speech was delivered by Krish Aggarwal and followed by a highly energized patriotic poem delivered by Shruti Manocha. The school choir enthralled the audience with the patriotic songs they sang. The highlight of the program was the dance performance which was highly appreciated by all. Thereafter a very motivating speech was delivered by the director to urge today's generation to value the freedom we have Secured after the sacrifices of many.
Creation -The School Exhibition 2018

“A really great talent finds its happiness in execution.”
On 21st July 2018, St. Teresa School became the platform for the display of fire of budding talents that came out of the hidden depths and left mark. An exhibition that ranged from perfectly performed “Magic Show” to the creation of Water Animals was organized in the school. The exhibition captured the attention of hundreds of parents, who were quite enamored by the extravagant display of such sophisticated creativity by their young ones.
Boundaries of creativity were widened more by the inclusion of several more themes such as Girl Education, Use of Maths, Science innovations, Health & Diet and magic show etc.
The exhibition was a huge success and gave a glimpse into the talent possessed by the future generation of India and as the title of thee exhibition says: It was actually a well planned and well executed ‘CREATION’
Investiture ceremony

An investiture is defined as the “formal ceremony of conferring the authority and symbols of high office.” It is held during the initiation of new academic session in school, or at the conclusion of the first year. It is an academic ceremony which has symbolized the pursuit of knowledge since the Middle Ages. Today, schools view investitures as opportunities to welcome a new era and celebrate as a community. Adorning with badges and swearing in of a student for position of authority to develop the quality and skill of taking and discharging responsibilities is the prime motto of conducting investiture ceremony in each academic session.
Mother's Day Celebrations

Mother's Day is a special day of the year, dedicated to all mothers .It is celebrated all over the world. Mothers hold a special place in the hearts of children. The students and staff members of ST TERESA SCHOOL were given an opportunity to show their appreciation for their mothers on Mother's Day.
Annual Sports Day-2017-18

The School organized its ‘Annual Sports Meet 2017’ at Commonwealth Games Village, Akshardham, Delhi. Sports meet included Athletics, Tug ‘o’ War, Relay Race and many more performances and events. Students of classes Nursery to XII participated in the meet with full enthusiasm. The Chief Guest on the occasion was recipient of Padamshree Award Mahabali Satlpal Singh Ji, After the ceremonial inauguration of the meet by the Hon’ble Chief Guest, Directors of St. Teresa School, Mr. R.R. Khanna, Mr. Vijay Gulati and Academic Director Ms. Renu Srivastava, March Past by the students of four Houses led by Head Boy and Head Girl of school marked the opening of the Sports Meet. The Chief Guest in his address encouraged the students with his inspiring words. The little champs captivated the audience as they displayed sports drill, fun races Yoga and Taekwondo. Girls of middle section presented beautiful semi-classical and Bihu dances. After the cultural programs, all the participants gathered at different venues to participate in the sports events. Some of the finals of the track events also took place. Chief Guest and Directors gave away Medals/Certificates and trophies to deserving students. With a very active participation of the students and well rehearsed arrangements by the staff and management of the school, the event was a grand success.
Teacher’s Training Workshop

Life is eternal and everyday makes us learn something new and learning becomes prolific. To augment this learning process, a Capacity Building training program through workshop for continuous professional development of teachers was conducted at St. Teresa School Auditorium on 19th December 2015 facilitated CBSE. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Kamalneet Singh from: CBSE-Centre of Excellence It included lot of individual and group activities to enhance their teaching language – skills. The experience proved to be a life time one of all sorts.
St. Teresa All India Fide Rating Chess Tournament-2016

All India FIDE Rating Chess Tournament-2016 was organized in our school from 3rd to 7th January, 2016. The Chess Tournament has drawn together many competitors and chess lovers from different parts of city. Sh. Bachchu Singhji, City Magistrate Noida, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Mr. A.K. Raizada, Secretary UPCSA, Mr. Surender Chauhan, Secretary GDCSA, Directors of St. Teresa School – Mr. R.R. Khanna and Mr. V.K. Gulati, School Principal Mrs. Vibha Khanna and Academic Director Mrs. Renu Srivastava graced the occasion. 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes were bagged by Sharma Dinesh Kumar, Abid Ali and Deepak Katiyar respectively. Best Unrated prize was given to Sushil Kumar Verma, Sudhanshu Singh and Aryan Garg. Best of St. Teresa School prize was won by Ketan Kaushik, Anmol Verma and Tanishka Jain. Best UP Men and Best UP Women were bagged by Shami Vipin Kumar, Gaha Narayan and Karunayake Mayuri, Ananya Singhal respectively. Best Veteran Prizes Men were won by Awasti Bal Govind, Badurdin and Women prizes were given to Tanishka Kotia & Arti Singh. Rated 1200 to 1700 and rated 1701 to 2000 were won by Raj Kumar, Sawyan Baran De respectively. The best school trophy was bagged by Amity International School. St. Teresa School was declared Second runner-up and Vanasthali Public School was declared as Third runner-up.

The resource person for the workshop was Mr. James Sunder Raj S., who has conducted over 300 programmes for school teachers all over India on effective usage and learning of English language. The seminar cum workshop was attended by the educators of different schools. It included lot of individual and group activities to enhance their teaching language – skills. The experience proved to be a life time one of all sorts.
KG Annual Day - Megha Re Megha

KG ANNUAL DAY - MEGHA RE MEGHA
St. Teresa School, Indirapuram celebrated the Annual Function of Kindergarten, titled “Megha Re Megha” on 20th December, 2015. The program started with the traditional lamp lightening followed by invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha through chanting of mantras and a dance performance. The tiny-tots showcased both the positive and negative aspects of “Rain” through their beautiful and impactful dance performances. The show concluded with the show stopper performance where all the children came on the stage carrying banners. One could clearly witness the waves of smile spreading all across the auditorium. The audience was kept enthralled by the students who in their colourful and joyful appearance brilliantly demonstrated the theme through the assortment of difference dance performance.
Christmas Celebration

Christmas is a big celebration. It is the happiest and mostly celebrated among the believers of all over the world. St. Teresa School organized a Gala Christmas program on 23rd of December in the school premises, where school students and teachers experienced the world of happiness. The program included play based on Jesus Christ’s birth and life happenings. Besides singing of carols, group dance performances added a new zeal among audience. The program was concluded with distribution of sweets and joy was spilled over to all. In the end our Hon’ble Director Khanna sir and school’s Academic Director Renu Srivastava ma’am showered their blessings and wished everyone Merry Christmas. Later along with fun and festive mood, knowledge was imparted with learning with fun activities in the classrooms with puzzle solving, Festival vocabulary building and Christmas Math Games.
